Cynthia Erivo arrived at the 2025 Met Gala for “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” and she looks out of this world amazing. The Wicked star showed in a perfect interpretation of the dress code—“Tailored for You”—wearing a stunning look by Givenchy, featuring an elaborately beaded corset top and a voluminous high-low black tulle skirt with a very long train. She paired the fit with a full Clinique beauty look and Bucherer Fine Jewellery.

Her look featured a lot of detailing, including a lace-up back to match her knee-high lace-up boots.

Also, obviously we need to take a closer look at her nails from Mycah Dior using OPI:

“I use my clothes as an introduction. I don’t dress up to hide,” Cynthia told the Washington Post last year, adding that she likes to “mess it up a bit” with volume and interesting shapes: “What no one else wants, I want,” she explained, noting, “Dare to be. Dare to adventure. There’s frivolity and joy in it. The way I dress is innately queer. I’m trying to be myself.”

And when it comes to her always-amazing nails, Cynthia told Another Mag that “It is a lovely, delightful thing for me, because it’s the one time where I’m sitting in one place and I don’t have to go anywhere, and I can either do a catch-up on emails, catch-up on TV or film, speak to people I haven’t spoken to for a long time and just be in one place. I really like that. Also, and I know this sounds ridiculous, but I’ve really enjoyed people getting into it. I’ve really enjoyed that people are excited about my nails.”
